The Brightside Ballroom
From 19th century factory to 21st century event space, The Brightside Ballroom is an industrial-chic space perfect for intimate gatherings to blow out bashes.
Built in 1890, The Brightside was originally a coal depot for the City of Dayton that later was home to factories and numerous businesses over the years. Our renovations highlight the building's industrial past with original exposed brick walls and vaulted open-beamed ceilings that create a modern, yet vintage vibe.
The understated ambiance of the space allows you to dress it up as little or as much as you’d like. It’s a blank canvas ready for you to add your own personal flair.
Because The Brightside is a music and event venue you benefit from some seriously awesome added perks!

Included Lighting - The Brightside is equipped with dimmable cafe lights in the ballroom ceiling, and (6) uplights around the perimeter of the entire room with static color options available.

The Brightside is truly a special place in Dayton. We had our wedding there in July, after postponing due to Covid. When planning, we knew we wanted to be downtown and the Brightside is in a perfect location. Carli and Hamilton, the owners, were so accommodating to us during our decision to postpone and throughout the entire planning process, all the way to our big day.
All the improvements they have made are phenomenal (the loft, the bride/groom suites, the parking lot, the gardens, the patio). The day of our wedding turned out beautiful and the pictures don’t even do it justice! Our friends and family were in awe of the space and are still talking about it.
We feel so lucky to have had our big day at the Brightside, a space that supports local vendors and talent, and we love coming to other events here. So glad we have this space in our community in Dayton!
